If you're looking for a colorful way to get a big-picture overview of a table, try a chart block.
The chart block summarizes a table of records and turns it into an interactive pie, column, line chart. You can customize the dimensions and measures in a convenience way.
Click the setting button of the block to expand the setting page:
On the setting page, choose an application and a corresponding list which will be displayed in the block. There are three chart type: pie chart, column chart, line chart.
Based on different chart type, the settings will be different. For pie chart, it needs to be set categories field, subcategories field and value field.
For the column chart and line chart, it needs to be set the information for X-axis and Y-axis.
You can also set the series. Take the column chart for example, after setting the series, it will show every category in the series with different colors on the bottom of the chart. Put the mouse on the column chart, it will display the series information.
You can set the second value for Y-axis. Take the column chart for example, after setting the second value, it will show the first and second value with different colors on the bottom of the chart. Put the mouse on the chart, it will show the details.
Please note that Series and Second Value cannot coexist, you can configure one of them only once a time.
If the data needs to be filtered to display, click Setting.
