The Send Email action allows you to send customized email messages during the workflow process. Yeeflow gives you the flexibility to include variables, context, and system variables as the inline message.

You can use email notifications in various instances such as:

  • Sending product shipping and delivery messages
  • Notifying the sales manager when a user shows interest in a product
  • Sending feedback request email to employee on tour report submission
  • Sending email to HR when an employee updates profile information
  • Notifying the concerned faculty when a student selects a domain
  • Send email notification to the concerned person when there is a status change in a task.

An email notification consists of the Subject, To, CC and the Content fields. You can dynamically add values to these fields using free text, form variables, and system variables etc.

1. Subject - Set the subject of the Email.

You can type in the text, or click the "Editor" button on the right of the text box control to open the "Expression Editor" window to add more variables.

You can select the varables, context and user related information, and include to the Subject.

2. To - Set the valid email address that the email will be send to.

You can type in the email address to the textbox, or click the "Editor" button on the right of the text box control to open the "Expression Editor" window to add more variables.

You can select the varables with the valid email address, the context and specified user's email to the To field.

3. CC - Set the valid email address that the email will be copy to.

You can type in the email address to the textbox, or click the "Editor" button on the right of the text box control to open the "Expression Editor" window to add more variables.

4. Content - Set the content as the body of the email.

You can type in the free text to the textarea, or click the "Editor" button on the right of the textarea control to open the "Mail Editor" window to add more variables.

(1) Click this button to add variables from the pop-up window.

(2) Click this button to add a hyperlink to the content. If you want to add a hyperlink to the current form. You can set the url by selecting "Instance Context -> Form Url". from the expression Editor.

The Form Url is the url address of the submitted form. You can also configure the url to an assignment task by select "Task Context -> {the assignment task} -> URL".
