Application administrator can design the application by adding components like lists, dashboard, and set properties etc.
After an application is create, it will default include one data list named "List1". And you can design per your business needs. Below is an application called "Recruitment Tracker”, which is for HR department to manage the employee recruitment.
1. App Menu
The app menu is used to manage all the components of this application. Click this button to open the app menu:
The app menu lists all the components. Click each item to navigate to the component. You can also adjust the display orders and show/hide the item from here. The functions highlighted in read are only available for app admins.
(1) ON/OFF - Turn is OFF if you won't to display this component to app users (the editors/visitors).
(2) Change Orders - Click the position icon at the end of each item, and drag to change the order. Use this to change the display orders of components.
(3) App Settings - Click the "Settings" button to edit the properties of this application. Change the app name/description, or the access permissions from the pop-up window.
2. App Components
Each component of the app will be displayed in the App Tabs Bar based on the orders. Click to switch to another component.
Click the drop arrow after the selected component to edit the properties or delete of this component.
3. Add Component
Click the "+" button at the end of the App Tabs Bar to create a new component. From the pop-up window, select the component to create.
Data List - the data list is like a database to store the structured data. You can create multi-type fields, sort and filter data, design the list forms or create the list workflows etc. You can create different types of data views for each data list based on the purposes on how to display your list data.
Calendar - a calendar list is used to manage your data in a calendar view. It's also able to connect to other content list to display all data in one Calendar.
Document Library - a document library is used to store and manage documents with folders.
Dashboard - The customizable web page where you can visualize all the data of the application.
You can click the Help button to find the help resources at any time.
5. Component's content area
Here is the place to display the current component related contents. You can customize and manage the properties of this components (content list/dashboard).
