Creating a Zap with Yeeflow as the Action

Creating a Zap with Yeeflow as the Action to get specified information from other apps.

In this article, we will have an opposite example that how to design a Zap that Yeeflow is the Action. Whenever a new item is created in Google Sheets, then a corresponding record will be created in Yeeflow.

While clicking on MAKE A ZAP and you will be brought to the Zap configuration page.

Step 1 - Set up the Trigger

① Select an App as the Tigger

After naming your Zap, you may ① search or select an other app (in this case we used Google Sheets ) than Yeeflow to start.

② Choose Tigger Event

Upon your selected app, you will be prompted to choose ② Tigger Event as a specific condition for activating this trigger.

Note

You will have different event options that depends on what the App provides to choose.

In this case, we select New Spreadsheet Row and Continue.

③ Choose account

Then you will be asked to ③ Choose account.

  • You may see these connected accounts that you have already made in Zaps before.

  • You need to click +Connect a new account at your first time. After that, there will be a pop-up page where you need to login your Google account to Zapier (or you will be auto-connected if you have already login on your account in the same web browser).

Note: You must Allow Zapier to access your X-Account to take the trigger.

Click Continue button to move on.

④ Set up trigger

After then you will be prompted to ④ Set up trigger for your designated X-Account (Google Sheets for this case).

You need to select a specific incoming data (e.g. Spreadsheet and Worksheet )to execute this trigger.

Click Continue button to move on.

⑤ Test trigger

At the last part of first step, Zapier will ask you to ⑤ Test trigger.

Click it and you will get a result to check if everything works well.

Click Continue button to finish the first step.

Step 2 - Set up the Action (Yeeflow)

Upon your success of the first step, you will be directed to the Action page.

① Select Yeeflow as the Action

Now you need to pick an action app (Yeeflow for this example) to perform.

② Choose Action Event

Upon your selected app, you will be prompted to choose an ② Action Event for Yeeflow to be performed when this Zap runs.

In this case, we pick Add an Item to a List.

Click Continue button to move on.

③ Choose account

Then you will be asked to ③ Choose account.

  • You may see these connected accounts that you have already made in Zaps before.

  • You need to click +Connect a new account at your first time. After that, there will be a pop-up page where you need to login your Yeeflow account to Zapier (or you will be auto-connected if you have already login on your account in the same web browser).

Note: You must Allow Zapier to access your Yeeflow Account to take the action.

In this case ,we pick a connected account and click Continue.

④ Set up Action

After then you will be prompted to ④ Set up action for your connected Yeeflow Account.

You're asked to select a specific receiving data (Application List ) into which your incoming records to go.

You may insert specific data of incoming data from Trigger app(Google Sheets) to each receiving data of Action app(Yeeflow).

Click Continue button to move on.

⑤ Test trigger

At the last part of second step, Zapier will ask you to ⑤ Test & Review.

Click it and you will get a result to check if everything goes well.

⑥ Turn on Zap

Once you've got a successful message, which means everything is set.

Click ⑥ Turn on Zap to finish and run this Zap.

Edit or more Action(s)

Upon your success of above steps, you will get a message of your Zap is on the way!

And now, you've set up your Zap with Yeeflow as the Action.

If you need any more actions for this Zap, click BACK TO SETUP and you're allowed to

  • Edit the Trigger or Action if applicable

  • +Add more Action(s) if applicable
