Yeeflow introduces default control styles, providing flexibility and consistency when designing forms, dashboards, and public forms. Authorized users can select from pre-configured styles or define custom styles to match specific branding or application requirements. This helps ensure all your designs follow a unified and professional appearance across different pages and applications.
When to Use
Default control styles help ensure a consistent and professional appearance across different parts of your application, including approval forms, dashboards, and public forms (external pages).
Consider using default control styles when:
You want all forms and dashboards to follow your company’s branding guidelines without manual styling for each control.
You are creating dashboards or external pages and need a unified, polished visual design.
Your organization manages multiple applications and requires a standard look for both internal and external users.
You want to improve efficiency by reusing style presets across different pages or applications.
Tip: Default control styles are especially useful in large teams or organizations where design consistency and productivity are key priorities.
Accessing the Control Style Settings
To configure control styles in your form or dashboard:
Open the design editor for your form, dashboard, or public form.
On the left panel, select the Page tab.
Expand the Appearance section.
Here you’ll find:
Default control styles: A dropdown menu to select a predefined style.
Custom styles: A button to open the detailed style editor.
Selecting a Default Control Style
In Yeeflow, the Default control styles dropdown lets you choose a predefined style for your forms, dashboards, or public forms. These styles fall into three categories:
Default styles — These are system-provided styles available for immediate use. They ensure a quick and consistent design baseline.
Global control styles — These are managed in the Admin Center, shared across all applications, and not editable at the application level. Examples include Clean flow and Clean flow_Green.
Application control styles — These are created or imported for a specific application. You can fully manage these under Application settings > Application styles. Examples include Modern minimal_S, Modern minimal_S1, and Secondary Underline.
Tip: To manage and configure these styles, go to Application settings > Application styles. From there, you can view, import, set defaults, or adjust your control styles as needed.
Applying Global or Application-Level Styles
Global control styles: Managed in the Admin Center and usable across applications. They provide a consistent design for all forms, dashboards, and public pages, but cannot be modified at the app level.
Application control styles: Created or imported for a specific application, giving teams flexibility to define app-specific visual standards.
This structure lets you standardize design at different scopes — global or application-specific.
Customizing Control Styles
Once you've selected a default control style in the Appearance settings, Yeeflow allows you to further customize it to match your specific design needs. This flexibility ensures that your forms, dashboards, and public forms reflect the desired look and feel of your application.
