Send Email Action

Yeeflow's Send Email Action customizes emails in workflows with dynamic content for various scenarios.

The Send Email action allows you to send customized email messages during the workflow process. Yeeflow gives you the flexibility to include variables, context, and system variables as the inline message.

  • You can use email notifications in various instances such as:

  • Sending product shipping and delivery messages

  • Notifying the sales manager when a user shows interest in a product

  • Sending feedback request email to employee on tour report submission

  • Sending email to HR when an employee updates profile information

  • Notifying the concerned faculty when a student selects a domain


Add Send Email Action

To add a send email action, open the workflow designer. Find Send Email from the left Actions toolbox. Click and drag this action to the designer canvas.

To configure the send email properties, click the "Settings" button under the selected send email action, the settings windows will be displayed on the right.

An email notification consists of the Subject, To, CC, attachments and the Content fields. You can dynamically add values to these fields using free text, form variables, and system variables etc.


Subject: Set the subject of the Email. To set the text of subject, click the right side icon to open the Expression Editor.

You can type in free text from the top text area, or select variables, context, other dynamic values from the blow selector, and insert into the subject.


To: Set the recipients of this email notification. Click the right side icon to open the Expression Editor.

The To field needs to include valid email address. You can type in email address from the top text area, or select variables, context, other dynamic values from the blow selector.

Note

Type a comma followed by a space to separate multiple email recipients.


CC: Send a “carbon copy” of the email to specific email address. You can set the valid email address from the Expression Editor.


Attachment: Select a file-type field from the workflow variables to include those files as the attachment of your email notification.

If you configured the related fields in this attachment option, when the email notification is triggered. The email receipts will see the related documents as an attachment in their mailbox.

Attachment size limitation

Please be noted: the total maximum attachment size is currently limited to 10MB.


Content: Set the content of the email notification. Click the right side icon to open the Mail Editor.

The Mail Editor is a rich text editor that allows you to add or edit content, images, links, and other contents.
